Why is ginger important?

Ginger is considered nature’s “aspirin” but with great anti-oxidant properties too!

You probably know that it is great for GI conditions (i.e., upset stomach, nausea, morning sickness, and so on) as well as promoting health digestion.

Ginger also has ant-inflammatory benefits to help pain conditions (muscle and joint pain, anybody?),  supports immunity and is also anti-bacterial.

The raw organic root is easily added to juices and meals. You can also steep the root and make tea with just the addition of hot water (so easy!) which is great if you suffer from colds, flu or allergies.

Prep enough of the root (peel, wash, cube, dry, freeze) so that you have extra on hand.

Using ginger and garlic together “up’s” the benefits.

And adding turmeric too?? Total health TRIFECTA!

This weekend I prepped (& ate!) most of the items in the picture above: ginger, mint, cilantro, goji berries (posted to IG about ’em), carrots, passion fruit, blackberries…

Any questions?
