I posted to Instagram (& Facebook) wanting YOU to help me choose between 3 “lash enhancing” serums I’m looking to purchase and use.

The choices were: RevitaLash, RapidLash & GrandeLash.

At some point over the last…well, many years, I’ve tried all 3. All 3 have different price points, but they’re cheaper than prescription-only types and available on (ding ding ding) Amazon.

The answers I got from y’all were inconclusive: some hadn’t tried any of the 3, some had tried one, & most had tried others (Latisse & Rodan/Fields).

I haven’t tried Latisse specifically because of the ordering process: through a doctor. Anything that is THAT exclusive, turns me off (& I can say that as a doctor).

Now, the credibility of what I’m about to write can’t be confirmed so take it for what it is BUT… on a popular online forum, people reported that there seemed to be more “hollowness” under the eyes and on the lids. If this were an actual common occurrence, like some kind of fat or tissue shrinkage underneath the skin as they’re describing it, it would be bottled and I’d BUY IT UP (and smear it liberally on my tummy and thighs!).

Other side effects described are more legit: discoloring of the lash line (hey…kinda like eyeliner) and possibly of the iris (hmm…).

What price beauty, eh?

Some people reported excellent results with castor oil for both lashes and eyebrows. Now, as a person who suffers from occasional blepharitis, styes and general eye irritation (thank you, years of Accutane), I’m meticulous about what oils I put around my eyes so this is a pass for me. (Though…I did put it on my eyebrows for a stint…)

Bottom line, I’m still not sure which serum I’m going to go for but I AM going to choose one. My lashes are non-existent and I’m NOT a mascara fan (for eye reasons mentioned above).

So you still have time to weight in!
