I think I’ve tried EVERY eyelash curler that’s out there.
Why? Because for the last few years my beloved one from Shu Uemura was always “sold out” (or I was told “we’re out of stock right now”) and let’s face it, those replacement “bumper pads” never worked as well.
I’m NOT a mascara fan and my little, sleep-deprived eyes need SOMETHING so in the meantime (while I was waiting for Shu Uemura…) I needed a back up!
So I tried: Shiseido, Kevyn Aucoin, Sephora’s brand, Tarte…ETC!
Not the same.
I just learned that Shiseido has gone the way of Prescriptives (another great cosmetic line)! No more Shiseido curlers for me!
Now, the “Shu” ones are still available on Amazon and eBay, like everything discontinued usually is (Sketcher Shape-up’s, anyone?), but I have trust issues – I don’t want a DUPE of the real thing.
