The following is an excerpt of a conversation… in an online forum… on a place that rhymes with BaceFook:

Person: HELP! I have knee pain…(crying emoji)…What can I do?! HELPPPP

Me: How long has it been?

Person: About a month!!!!!

Me: Go to the doctor and find out what’s going on!

Person: I did (crying emoji)

Me: What did he/she say it was (& to do)?

Person: He took an x-ray. I’ve been resting it.

((ohmygosh, she’s been just resting and inactive – no bueno))

Me: Specifically what was your diagnosis or exact problem? It can be ONE thing or many things. The knee joint’s very complex so knowing which parts or structures are involved will help us to better suggest things that could help (insert my usual “soap box” or diatribe on joint health…)

Person: He took an x-ray and said I have ARTHRITIS! (insert more crying emojis)

((That’s not enough of a diagnosis or answer to the questions, readers))

COMING UP: Some possible treatment options for you to learn about!
