For several months now I’ve pinned my “How-To-Juice” post (HERE) to the top of the blog, alternating with my “Lemon Ginger” drink post (HERE).
Here’s the thing, “WE” eat too much sugar.
Yes, natural sugars are better than synthetic. And sugars that aren’t in fruits and plants are usually in processed foods and we should eat less of those things in general.
BUT, sugar is sugar and it is NOT for your health.
And it seems to be in EVERYTHING! (TIP: check your labels for # of grams of sugar and type)
In a recent large scale study, there was a SIGNIFICANT link between 100% fruit juices and cancer- particularly breast cancer.
That’s scary.
TIP: A better choice to reduce sugary content is to choose SOUPS!
TIP: Choose to blend over juicing- This keeps the natural fiber in there.
TIP: Include a green vegetable in your juice blends- kale, cilantro, spinach, lettuce,..
